Huawei Mate 30 Pro And Its Waterfall Display Star In A New Live Photo

The latest photograph of the real-life of Huawei Mate 30 Pro appeared today on the China Weibo microblogging site. Although it was housed in one case, we could still easily detect the curved waterfall screen with a side that falls directly at a 90-degree angle. The large notch at the top of the screen also appears. The new Mate 30 line should be presented on September 19th.

According to reports, the high-end model, the Mate 30 Pro, will feature a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display with a QHD + resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The 50% faster refresh rate will allow for smooth, buttery scrolling and improved graphics for mobile game players. It is not the first time that the photos of the Mate 30 Pro appear. Last month, the phone was photographed with the same case as that seen in today’s image, but from the opposite corner. The back of the phone and the circular camera module were masked by the case.

Huawei claims that any commercial conversation between the US and China must pass through the company

The Kirin 990 chipset grown at home will be under the hood of the Mate 30 Pro. The chip is designed by Huawei’s HiSilicon unit and produced by TSMC using its 7 nm process. It does not only include a neural processing unit (NPU) for AI / Machine Learning functionality but also includes an integrated 5G modem. On the back, there is a quadruple configuration with two 40 MP cameras (primary + ultra-wide-angle), an 8 MP telephoto lens and a time of flight sensor (ToF). The latter measures the time taken for infrared light to bounce off a subject and return to the camera. With this data, Huawei Mate 30 Pro will be able to calculate more precise depth measurements to improve the bokeh effect on portraits taken from the phone.

A 4500 mAh camera should keep the lights on and due to the US supply chain ban. We could see a pre-installed open-source version of Android. This means that the Mate 30 line will not have the version of Android Play Services installed on Google Play, nor will it be supplied with the main Google Android applications, including Play Store, Gmail, Calendar, Search and others. However, the head of the manufacturer’s consumer device group, Richard Yu, suggested IFA last month to work on a solution that would allow Google’s applications to be downloaded in an open-source version of Android.

Meanwhile, Huawei says it could be the key to getting its name removed from the US Department of Commerce List. This would allow the company to re-purchase components and software from US suppliers.

Can I imagine a trade deal where the U.S. government doesn’t agree to talk to us? No, I can’t.” – Company’s security director, Andy Purdy

The manager also emphasized something we said on a number of occasions; The prohibition against Huawei is hurting American companies more than negatively affecting the Chinese manufacturer.  Because Huawei spent $11 billion on its US suppliers last year and that is revenue that will be impossible to replace for these American companies. Take for example the Micron technologies; The main customer of this US supplier of memory chips. In 2018 it was Huawei; you already have it.

And although US President Donald Trump has said in the past that he would consider using Huawei as a currency to get better terms for a trade agreement between the US and China, Trump recently withdrew that comment saying that the US has no business with Huawei. The manufacturer is seen as a security threat in the US. Because you can force at any time to use your devices to spy on consumers and American companies.
