Bloomberg recently shared all the details of IOS 13 and now Mark Gurman and Debby Wu have turned their attention to hardware. The couple wrote a new report that says you can expect some interesting things to come with new 2019 iPhones, and it includes reverse wireless charging.
It is worth reading the full article and some of the points raised to add more credibility to the items that have been floating for weeks. However, Bloomberg’s additional reports add strength to those rumors.
Some of the most interesting notes include the fact that iPhone 2019 will largely be identical to the iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max that arrived last year with the addition of a new square floor camera on the back. However, the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max will be about 0.5 mm thick compared to their one-year counterparts.
It is said that the three phones also have a wireless reverse charge, which allows iPhone owners to charge their AirPods only with their iPhone. This is a feature that some Android flagship phones have been added in recent months, including the Galaxy S10 with the new iPhone will have to face.
iPhones will make use of new A13 chips
As expected, the 2019 iPhones use the new A13 chips to manufacture Apple’s production partner, TSMC, and mass production should begin this month.
Check out the complete Bloomberg piece to see all the parts, but we’re particularly interested in seeing the inverse wireless rates added this year. This alone makes the purchase of AirPods with its wireless charging case a good investment.
Apple should announce the new iPhones in September and the shipment will be made immediately after.
