With the introduction of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series within two weeks, some new and exciting information on the Galaxy Note 10+ was revealed on Twitter by Ice Universe (@Universeice). Based on renderings, the Infinity-O screen on the Galaxy Note 10+ will cover a record 92.5% of the phone’s body. This compares with the 88.5% screen-body ratio in Huawei P30 Pro and the 88.4% ratio in OnePlus 7 Pro. For this design, Samsung uses a punch-hole for selfie camera and also an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner on the screen. Our analysis of the Galaxy Note 10 shows that it will have a screen-body ratio of 91% in the environment.
The side frames of the Galaxy Note 10+ have a thickness of 1.5mm. To put it in perspective, consider that this is 0.059 inch. The upper bevel weighs 2mm, while the lower chain measures 3.7mm. Based on a previously leaked specification, we expect the Galaxy Note 10+ to be equipped with a 6.8-inch and 1440p QHD + screen. In states, the Snapdragon 855 (+) mobile platform will power the device, while in other places, the Exynos 9825 chipset will be under the hood. The Galaxy Note 10+ will come with 12GB of memory and the storage options will start at 256GB.
The back of the Galaxy Note 10+ will carry four sensors. There will be a 12MP main camera, a 12MP telephoto lens, a 16MP wide-angle camera and a flight time sensor (ToF). This measures the time it takes for the infrared rays to bounce off a subject and return to the phone. The collected data can be used to create 3D maps for more accurate facial recognition and better bokeh effects in portraits. The 4300 mAh battery supports a fast recharge of 45W and a wireless recharge of 20W. The color options will include black, white and a crystal gradient.
New Features For S Pen
Many Samsung fans will be happy with the disappearance of Bixby’s controversial dedicated button. This does not mean that Bixby has been removed as you can now call the digital assistant using the phone’s power button. One thing that Galaxy Note 10+ will have that you won’t find in your younger brother is a MicroSD slot. Perhaps the larger dimensions of the Galaxy Note 10+ have allowed Samsung to include this feature in the premium model. In any case, there will probably be many consumers who don’t get to store 256 GB of applications, photos, videos and multimedia content on their Galaxy Note 10.
The S Pen will have some new features this year. If used to highlight text on the Galaxy Note 10 display, it will emit a highlight sound. If this means that the pen will generate a sharp and precious squeak, the type that reminds you of a balloon being handled, you may want to disable this feature. Reportedly, there will be additional aircraft command options when the S Pen goes on the screen and an unnamed Samsung executive says the pen will show improved performance.
As we told you this morning, Samsung is now booking the new Galaxy Note 10 series. Those who choose to join the queue will have 72 hours after the phones go on sale to place an original order, otherwise, they will cancel their reservation. It seems that the release date of the new models will be August 23rd.
