While Samsung is already letting customers register their interest in the next family of Galaxy Note smartphones, so far, the company has not mentioned the name of the new series. Today, however, it has been discovered that several official Samsung websites have support pages for Galaxy Note 10+, model number SM-N975F. Therefore, Samsung inadvertently confirms what several leaks have suggested for some time: a Note 10+ will be released along with a Note 10.
Recently discovered Galaxy Note 10+ support pages can be viewed on Samsung Romania, Samsung Slovakia and other European websites. They don’t reveal too many details on the next smartphone, but they tell us that the device runs Android 9 Pie, with variants with 256 GB and 512 GB of storage space.
Thanks to the leaks by Roland Quandt and Max J., some color variants of Note 10+ have also been revealed: Aura Glow, Aura Black, and Aura White. Other colors and storage options may also be available.
The Note 10+ Is A Superior Phone
As for the design, Note 10 and Note 10+ will not be very different, since both have frameless screens with unique front holes for selfie cameras, possibly as seen in our previous rendering. However, the Note 10+ will be a superior phone, as the name obviously suggests. According to leaked rumors and specs, the Galaxy Note 10+ has a 6.8-inch AMOLED dynamic display with 1440 x 3040 pixels. This makes it larger than the Note 10, which presumably has a 6.3-inch AMOLED dynamic display with 1080 x 2280 pixels. Furthermore, it is expected that the Note 10+ will include 12 GB of RAM and a 4300 mAh battery, instead of 8 GB of RAM and a 3500 mAh battery that is supposed to be inside the Note 10.
Another difference concerns the main rooms of the new notes. While the normal Note 10 should have a triple rear camera with 2x optical zoom, the Note 10+ could have a quad camera with 2x optical zoom; The fourth camera could include a flight time sensor, similar to the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, which provides additional data that will help with portrait photos and augmented reality content.
Both the Note 10 and the Note 10+ can be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, at least in the US. In addition, both phones must have an improved S Pen stylus, dust and water resistance, and support for microSD cards. It is interesting to note that the devices could be the first of the Galaxy Note series not to include standard 3.5mm audio jacks (but, who knows, perhaps Samsung will include some good-quality USB Type-C or wireless headphones in the package).
Price And Release Date of Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+
Samsung will officially launch the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ next month, August 7th. The company should start selling the new series of Android phones soon after, on August 24th. Even a Galaxy Note 10+ 5G should be announced soon, and it appears that this will be launched on Verizon Wireless (although this does not exclude its availability to other operators at a later date).
When it comes to prices, the Galaxy Note 10 should be cheaper than the Plus variant. More precisely, Note 10 could be sold in the US starting at $ 999, while the Note 10+ could cost at least $ 1,149. Naturally, the prices may vary depending on the couriers (which, applicable terms and conditions, will probably offer numerous discounts or gifts with the new Notes).
